Dealing with NSW Government Hospitals 7

Further to the story of a Mr and Mrs Amone going to the Fairfield Government hospital for help in having their baby, and got none, and the baby died, of which we have written extensively.

The coroner has finally come up with a conclusion on why the baby died – she died of “natural causes.”

So there you are readers – it had nothing to do with the fact that the Amones got no help in delivering their baby and had to deliver it themselves, nothing to do with the fact that the mother may have been given too much pain killing medicine prior to the birth; this baby was born to die, destined to die no matter what. So Fairfield Hospital and it’s people were not to blame in any way – the baby would have died anyway.

The coroner probably had to say this, had to come up with something, as there was no one available who could say that they had diagnosed what was wrong with the baby once it was born, and had done this and this to try and save her life.
