A contribution from one of our readers:-
No wonder our very strong advice to our readers, something we practice ourselves, is that they shouldn’t rely in any way on doctors, (anybody? lawyers, accountants, estate agents, organisations, etc. etc. etc.) unless they have an ordinary email address AND a track record of providing reasonable responses to reasonable emails sent to them.
Not only is it, “By their deeds ye shall know them,” but, “By their emails ye shall know them.”
Of course, when you go to Government hospitals, you don’t have a choice as to who you see, and it’s easy to assume that doctors like Dr Tan have been “screened out” – but we’ve never found any evidence that this is necessarily so.
