A comment from a University Professor, (originally from Australia,) working in America – “I’m 73. I should have retired years ago, but here in the US any nest egg you may have put together can be gone in a flash if you suffer any issues with your health, and so we all keep working – it’s a strange culture we live in.”
One of the issues is the cost of medications in the US – one of our readers claim that pills that you can buy in India for $5 cost $1,200 each in the US i.e. US citizens are forced to pay $1,200 for pills that cost $5 in India, BY LAW!
