On 19 Feb. 2020, this email was sent to Ms Sue Dawson, the NSW Health Care Complaints Commissioner, with a copy to Brad Hazzard, the NSW Minister for Health.
We’ll let you know if we get a response. Our guess is that we’ll never get one – because Ms Dawson won’t be able to make any sense of the HCCC Annual Report, her own Annual Report, which she’s signed off on.
A 8 Mar. 2020 update: On 25 Feb. 2020, the 2 Mar. 2020, and today, i.e. 8 Mar. 2020, further emails were sent to each of them, enquiring, “I’m wondering if you got this email?” So far, all we’ve got are automated acknowledgements. Is the claim that “82 prosecutions against medical practitioners” were settled in 2018-2019 true?
An 11 Mar. 2020 update: Yesterday this was received in an email from the HCCC, authored by a Paul Spink.
It was responded to with this, with copies to Sue Dawson and David Barwell:-
